A student successfully completing BL A 512 lecture should be well educated in the
properties of membrane signal transduction, channels, G protein-coupled signal
pathways, and pathways regulating transcription. Biology graduate students
attaining these goals will be prepared for coverage of this material on their
M.S. and Ph.D oral exams. Other students will have acquired a broad foundation in
Signal Transduction.
